Scar Mobilization and Reduction

Do you have scars that are painful, unsightly, or maybe just never healed well?

Did you know that these scars can likely be reduced or minimized with certain manual therapy techniques?

Scar massage treatment includes manual therapy techniques, Acu-Current Therapy (Handheld Microcurrent), and patient instruction in self-treatment to help improve scar appearance, pliability (new, old, post-surgical), eliminate/reduce adhesions, decrease pain, and increase surrounding tissue extensibility and joint ROM.

Skills

I have received advanced training in several manual therapy treatment techniques, and have found them particularly useful with my patients due to quicker and more long-lasting results than previous traditional methods. My patients report that they are not readily able to find these same services at most local therapy clinics.

Click on their links to learn more about each technique.
